Human Beat-Box

In Hip-Hop, At a Time in it's early stages of evolving itself into a musical genre, there were several key elements at its core that helped fashion its Existence. These essentials were, Rappers, Boom Boxes, Turntables, Drum machines, and last but Not least, The Beatboxer.

In The 80's, Hip Hop Beats were very simple and Funky. You Either had a dj with two turntables looping breaks off of old funk records back and forth, or you had a beatboxer creating funky rhythms with nothing but his mouth and his imagination.

At the heart of hip hops expiramental era of birth there were two artists that came together to create an unstoppable duo that would be followed and emulated for years to come, Doug E. Fresh & Slick Rick. The Two released a single back in 1985 that included the song's "The Show" & La-Di-Da-Di. The Show Sampled the Theme from "Inspector Gadget" Had Ill beat boxing ala Dougie E. Fresh and Witty Back and forth Rhyme schemes by The Dynamic Duo.

Here Are Links To Both Jams off of the Single.

The Song "La-Di-Da-Di" is one of Hip Hop's all time biggest Classics. Snoop Doggy Dog did a cover of this song on his first album "Doggy Style" and The Late Great Notorious B.I.G Sampled a Line from the song and made a Chrous to one of his Biggest selling songs "Hypnotize." He Rap's "Biggie,Biggie,Biggie, can't you see, somehow your words just Hypnotize me, and I just Love Your FLASHY ways, GUESS THATS WHY THEIR BROKE AND YOUR SO PAID" Slick Rick the originator recites, Ricky,Ricky,Ricky, Cant you see, somehow your words just Hypnotize me, and I just love your JAZZY ways, MC RICK YOUR LOVE IS HERE TO STAY.
The Notorious B.I.G and DIDDY used Sampling as a Very big formula to their Success.
